How it works
Select a bicycle online
Employees select a suitable bicycle on the website www.canyon.com/de-at and can add leaseable accessories (e.g. in case of mandatory bike lock) to it. In the shopping cart, click "Checkout" next. Under "Shipping", the preferred delivery method is selected:
My address: Direct delivery to your home.
Collect & Ride: Delivery to a Canyon partner dealer. The bike is assembled there and is fully prepared for pickup. Matching dealers are listed here.
Enter Lease a Bike order code at checkout
During the checkout process, select “Lease a Bike” as the payment method and enter the six-digit order code. There is no need to select a service level. In accordance with company policy, the best possible comprehensive coverage available will be automatically assigned to the contract. You will be redirected to the order summary, where you can check all the details and confirm the order by clicking "Buy now". An order code is used for verification. If there are any error messages, the Lease a Bike team is available.
Testing on the Lease a Bike portal
You will then receive an email notification asking you to check and digitally confirm the details on the Lease a Bike portal.
Shipping the bicycle
Once the transfer agreement and lease agreement have been approved by the employer, the bicycle will be shipped directly to the specified delivery address.
Receipt of the bicycle
Employees can conveniently confirm delivery with a click in the portal. Practical: If no feedback is received within 14 days (or if there is a pause due to defects), receipt is automatically confirmed and the contract is activated.
FAQs
Can I also pick up a bicycle in person?
Yes. Collect & Ride allows delivery to a Canyon partner dealer, who assembles the bike on-site and prepares it for pickup. Use the Service Partner Finder to locate a dealer. Alternatively, direct home delivery remains available.
Note on leasing: The contract activates automatically 14 days after dispatch to the dealer. Pickup can take place as soon as notification of completed assembly is received.
Can I return my bike within the 30-day return period from Canyon?
You can only return your bike if you have not yet signed and submitted the acceptance form on the Lease a Bike portal after delivery, or if the 14-day period has expired. Once you have signed and submitted the form to Lease a Bike, you can no longer return the order.
