How bike leasing works for refurbished bikes.

Convince your employer

To use this service, your company must be enrolled in Lease a Bike’s company bike leasing program. Our team will be happy to assist you with this.

Registration

Once the employer has successfully completed the registration process, access to the online portal will be set up. After the employer approves the request, a unique order code will be generated.

Select a company bike

You can select your desired bike directly in the online store of our partner, LikedBikes, in the exclusive "Lease a Bike" category. By entering your personal "Lease a Bike" order code during the ordering process, the bike will automatically be assigned to the corresponding request.

Checkout

At checkout, simply select “Lease a Bike Leasing” as your payment method. The appropriate service and insurance package will be automatically assigned in the background according to each company’s individual guidelines.

Have it delivered directly to your home

Once you've confirmed your order digitally on the portal and your employer has approved it, the professionally prepared e-bike will be conveniently delivered right to your home.

Frequently Asked Questions About Refurbished Bike Leasing

: "Refurbished" means that a previously used e-bike is thoroughly inspected and serviced before delivery. All refurbished e-bikes leased through LikedBikes are in perfect working order.
Defective or worn parts are replaced according to the following criteria:
- Brake pads: Replace when the wear limit specified by the manufacturer is reached
- Brake rotor: Replace when the wear limit specified by the manufacturer is reached
- Tires: Replace if there is visible wear or damage
- Chain: Replace if elongation exceeds the tolerance limit (depending on the type of drivetrain)
- Chainring/sprocket: Replace if deformed or damaged
- Handles: Replace if there is visible wear or damage
- Pedals: Replacement in case of visible wear or damage
- Battery/motor/display/control unit: Replacement in case of damage or malfunction
- Other parts not listed: Replacement in case of visible wear, reaching the manufacturer's defined wear limit, or damage
The bikes may show slight signs of wear and tear from use (visual condition as described in the store listing or shown in the photos).
A refurbished e-bike (pedelec) comes with the following parts:
• At least 1 battery key
• Battery
• Display or control unit
• Charger
: The refurbished bike price is always used to calculate the lease payment. Discounted store prices or other discounts are not taken into account when calculating the payment, and the refurbished bike price is displayed in the shopping cart at the end of the ordering process.
: LikedBikes does not offer optional leasing accessories. If a lock is required under company policy, a lock eligible for leasing will be included, and a corresponding accessory surcharge will be applied.
: No, at LikedBikes, all transactions are currently handled exclusively online through the web store, with home delivery.
: In the event of a total loss or theft, the agreed-upon coverage applies. When replacing the vehicle, you are not required to choose a used car—you may also select a new vehicle within the limits of the purchase price.
